Cure for Epic Drought Could Be a $3.50 Fixture: Utility Solutions Makes Water Conservation Easy

Georgia is not the only state suffering from extreme water shortages. Nearly half of the Southeast is experiencing an "exceptional" drought - the National Weather Service's worst drought category. As a result, Georgia officials have already banned almost all outdoor watering across the northern half of the state, while residents are being asked to conserve water through measures such as limiting showers. Restaurants are doing their part by only serving water at customers' requests.

With a dry winter in the forecast and approximately 78 days of stored water left in Lake Lanier, the north Georgia reservoir that supplies water to about 3 million residents, it is time for individuals to take action.
