Inner Tube Water Polo Makes Waves Across San Diego County

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2007 -- Surfing and Beach Volleyball are sooo 2006… This summer, VAVi Sport and Social Clubs is taking water sports to a whole new level with Inner Tube Water Polo! Co-ed teams of inner tube-clad challengers battle the clock and each other to score goals and stay afloat at San Diego's world famous Wavehouse in Mission Beach.

VAVi continues to add to its growing stable of more than 25 different fun adult sports leagues including:

•    Inner Tube Water Polo
•    BoozeSkeeball
•    Dodgeball
•    Kickball

The VAVi Inner Tube Water Polo league will consist of seven regular season games and an extra tournament for the top four teams. A team consists of six players and a goalie with up to five substitutes. Since it is coed, at least three girls have to be in the water at any time. Games will be played for two halves of 15 minutes each with a running clock.

It's Wet, it's Wild, it's Water Polo!

Of course, all this splashing around of bronzed bodies, bikinis and Speedos can be tiring - so VAVi has the perfect solution! Just take a quick saunter over to the Wavehouse Beachside Bar and Grill. Chill out with some tasty food and refreshing drinks and don't miss out on some killer deals at the special VAVi happy hour for less.

And when you're done with the main event, get ready for a different kind of battle - against a 10-foot tall barreling artificial wave called the Bruticus Maximus!

VAVi brings sports enthusiasts together through sports leagues, clubs, classes, social events, and local volunteer opportunities.
