It is wise to order from a reputable retailer rather than EBay. This way you know the pot will be properly packaged when it is shipped and you will not end up with a coffee pot in a couple of pieces when it gets to you. This is especially important if you order a pot with a glass carafe.

If you are fussy about the type of coffee pot you want, you may have to look around a bit. You may want your coffee pot to have a timer with an auto-start feature, a pause feature or some other features that are now offered. They have clocks, and even nightlights so you can find them in the early morning dark. Just make sure you put the coffee maker through a trial run before you throw away the box and the receipt.
